I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratoire de Neurosciences Cognitives et Computationnelles (LNC2), ENS.
My work explores interactions between volition, sense of agency, metacognition, and learning. I am interested in understanding how we make decisions and how we come to feel in control of actions and their consequences, i.e. have a sense of agency. Our experience of agency is foundational for our societal notions of responsibility, and interacts with our ideas about freedom of choice.
I investigate how learning and decision-making are influenced by freedom of choice, or our confidence in a decision (aka metacognition), and how these also interact with our sense of agency. For this, I use variety of behavioural, computational, and neuroimaging methods.
